Terminology

  • CSC SCHEME: Within these terms and conditions, “we,” “our,” “us,” and “ours” refer to CSC SCHEME.

  • Customer: The terms “you,” “your,” “yours,” “candidate,” and “customer” refer to users of www.cscscheme.co.uk and individuals accessing our services.

Booking for a Business

If you are using our services on behalf of a business, by making payment, you confirm that you have authority from the business owner to do so and that they have authorized the payment for services provided by CSC SCHEME via our website.

General Terms and Conditions

  • Applicability: These terms and conditions apply to any individual or company making single or multiple bookings with CSC SCHEME.

  • Agreement: By accessing our services or using www.cscscheme.co.uk, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • Amendments: CSC SCHEME reserves the right to edit or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. New or revised terms will apply only to bookings made after the changes are published on the website. The terms in effect at the time of your booking will govern your agreement.

  • Customer Responsibility: It is your responsibility to review and comply with our Terms and Conditions before placing a booking.

Age Restrictions

  • Minimum Age: We cannot book tests or services for individuals under the age of 16.

Payment Currencies

  • Currency: All payments are processed in Great British Pounds (GBP).

Terms and Conditions of Bookings

  • Subject to Availability: All bookings are made on a “subject to availability” basis. While we strive to secure your requested date and time, this may not always be possible. If your preferred date and time are unavailable, we will book the nearest available slot.

  • Liability: CSC SCHEME is not liable for any loss of earnings or expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to test centre issues (e.g., equipment failure, centre closure, or identification issues).

  • Booking Confirmation: Within 48 working hours of booking, you will receive a confirmation email and text from CSC SCHEME, as well as a text from CITB confirming the test date and time. If you do not receive correspondence within 48 hours, contact our support team at info@cscscheme.co.uk.

Rescheduling or Cancelling a Booking

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule a test free of charge if the request is made at least 5 working days before the scheduled test date. Requests within 5 working days require a new booking and an additional test fee. Rescheduling within 5 working days is only possible 48 hours after the original test date.

  • Cancellation: Cancellation requests must be made at least 5 working days before the test date and are subject to a £20.00 administration and cancellation fee, covering communication, cancellation with CITB, and refund processing.

  • Proof of Booking: A confirmation email sent after booking serves as your receipt and proof of payment, confirming your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  • Payment Refusal: We are not liable if payment is refused or declined by your credit/debit card provider.

Booking Your Test via CSC SCHEME

  • Service Description: By booking a test with us, you acknowledge that the booking is for test arrangement, not a guaranteed date (subject to availability). The fee includes the £21 CITB test fee plus our booking and support fee.

  • Accuracy of Details: You are responsible for providing accurate booking details. CSC SCHEME is not liable for errors in the details you provide. If we make an error in submitting your provided details, we will correct it at no additional cost.

  • Verification Process: Our team reviews all bookings for accuracy. If additional information is needed or we suspect an incorrect test or centre was selected, we will contact you via email to confirm details before proceeding. Contact us at info@cscscheme.co.uk if there are errors in your booking.

  • Candidate Responsibility: You are responsible for attending the test at the correct date, time, and location with appropriate ID/documentation. CSC SCHEME is not liable for your absence or failure to provide required documentation.

  • Service Inclusions: Our service fee covers:

    • Reviewing booking details for accuracy.

    • Securing the requested (or nearest available) time, date, and venue.

    • Confirming test details via email and text.

    • Handling rescheduling or cancellation requests.

  • Payment: Full payment is required before we can book your test. The price displayed at the booking stage is the final price.

  • Consumer Rights: These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Right to Cancel or Reschedule

  • Your Right to Cancel: You may cancel a test and request a refund by emailing info@cscscheme.co.uk, subject to a £20.00 administration fee, provided the request is made at least 5 working days before the test date.

  • Our Right to Cancel: CSC SCHEME may cancel a test (including on the day) due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., power failure, security alerts). In such cases, an alternative test date will be offered, and we are not liable for any losses or expenses incurred.

  • Rescheduling: To reschedule a test, contact info@cscscheme.co.uk at least 5 working days before the test date with your full name, booking reference number, and at least three alternative test dates. Failure to provide this information in time prevents rescheduling until 48 hours after the original test date.

Privacy Policy

One Day Courses Booking Policy

  • Cancellation or Changes: CSC SCHEME reserves the right to cancel, alter course dates, locations, or providers, or make reasonable variations to courses without prior notice. In case of cancellation, bookings will be transferred to the next available course unless otherwise requested by the customer.

  • Cancellation Policy: Refunds are available for cancellations requested at least 31 days before the course date, subject to a £20.00 administration and cancellation fee. Cancellations within 31 days are non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling Policy: Rescheduling requires at least 31 days’ notice. Failure to provide notice or attend the course forfeits the course fee. Rescheduling to a different venue may incur additional fees, payable before the change is processed.

  • Non-Attendance: CSC SCHEME is not responsible for a candidate’s inability to attend due to reasons such as bad weather, vehicle breakdown, or other circumstances.

CSCS Card Applications Policy

  • Accuracy of Information: By using our card application service, you confirm that all provided details are accurate.

  • Fees: The application fee includes £36 paid to the CSCS Scheme for processing, printing, and delivery, plus our service fee.

  • Additional Information: Our team may contact you via email to request evidence of qualifications, a photo (if the test centre photo is unusable), or clarification of delivery/contact details.

  • Eligibility: Candidates must understand and meet the eligibility requirements for the card type applied for, as outlined during the application process.

  • Cancellation: CSC SCHEME may cancel applications without prior notice if necessary. If additional documentation is required, it must be provided within 6 weeks of the application date. Failure to provide accurate documentation may result in application refusal, with a £20.00 administration fee deducted from any refund.

  • Non-Refundable: If an application is cancelled due to incomplete or inaccurate documentation, a £20.00 cancellation and administration fee will be charged, deducted from the refund amount.

ECS/JIB Card Applications Policy

  • Accuracy of Information: By applying for an ECS/JIB card through our service, you confirm that all provided information is accurate.

  • Fees: The application fee includes £57 or £46.20 (depending on the card type) paid to ECS/JIB for processing, printing, and delivery, plus our service fee.

  • Non-Refundable: ECS/JIB card application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, as ECS/JIB does not provide refunds.

  • Additional Information: Our team may contact you via email to request evidence of qualifications, a photo (if the test centre photo is unusable), or clarification of delivery/contact details.

  • Eligibility: Candidates must understand and meet the eligibility requirements for the card type applied for, as outlined during the application process.

  • Cancellation: CSC SCHEME may cancel applications without prior notice if necessary. If additional documentation is required, it must be provided within 6 weeks of the application date. Failure to provide accurate or complete documentation may result in application refusal, with no refunds issued.

  • No Guarantees: Neither CSC SCHEME nor ECS/JIB can make prior judgments or guarantees about the outcome of any application. Candidates are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary documents and meet eligibility criteria.

ECS Health and Safety Assessment Policy

  • Online Assessment:

    • Cost: The total fee is £99, comprising £57 for the ECS assessment and a £42 administration fee.

    • Delivery: Login credentials for the ECS Online Health and Safety Assessment will be sent via email within 24–48 hours.

    • Non-Refundable: The ECS Online Health and Safety Assessment fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • In-Centre Assessment:

    • Cost: The total fee is £99, comprising £54 for the ECS assessment and a £45 administration fee.

  • Rescheduling: Requests to reschedule must be made at least 3 working days before the scheduled test date by contacting info@cscscheme.co.uk. Requests within 3 working days require a new booking and additional fees.

    • Non-Refundable: The ECS In-Centre Health and Safety Assessment fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
